In the cradle of Texas History, The Alamo Plaza opens the door for questions about the battle, and tributes to the fallen Independence fighters with names like Travis, Crockett, and Bowie- along with so many other volunteers who stood against many. These days, there is also a somber feeling for the Mexican soldiers who fought and died here in this battle.
