The Legendary musician presides over Austin’s trendy downtown music scene on 6th Street. The late entertainer is memorialized by the city that helped produce his musical style, with this statue on Town Lake. Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed in a tragic helicopter accident, but his spirit lives on in the hearts of all Austinites.
